Garage Heaters, enjoy the most under used area of your Home, all year round.

Did you know that a typical two car garage represents approximately 20% of the usable  space in an average home. Garage Heaters allow you to use this space all the year  round. Heating a Garage means you can enjoy this space for Hobbies, Recreation, DIY  Projects or just have somewhere warm for your Kids to play, house your Pets or to do your Laundry.
Having a Garage Heater also means your Car or Jeep will start easier, warm up faster  and snow and ice gets melted away faster, it will also keep the bodywork in better condition, due to less rust etc.

There are a number of different types of Garage Heaters available, powered by either Electricity or Gas.  Convection type heaters warm the air and it is then blown around the Garage by a fan.
However one the best types of Garage Heaters to use are Infrared or Radiant type heaters.
Like the Sun they give off infrared heat, this is absorbed by objects which in turn  radiates the heat to the surrounding areas. There are no fans to generate dust etc and  the heaters are not affected by draughts or open doors. They are also quiet and clean.

Gas operated Garage Heaters are some of the most energy efficient available and can  use either Natural Gas or Propane, but you need to specify which type before purchase.  They are up to 50% cheaper to run than an equivalent electric Garage heater. Models are  available from 25,000 BTU's to 40,000 BTU's and they can heat a Garage up to 500/600  Sq. ft. They are usually wall mounted and can have thermostat or manual temperature  control.

There are other types of Garage Heaters including Wood burning stoves and under floor  heating. This uses heated water pumped through plastic tubing in the floor, if you  already use a heated water system for you home it may be an option to connect into  this system.
